Dedupe data

This is used to find and merge duplicates in your database. To check for duplicates and merge contacts;

  1. Go to Contacts>Find and Merge Duplicate Contacts.
  2. Choose a rule  (this is what fields to search is based on), and select ‘Use Rule’
  3. You can then select all contacts, or look at contacts in a specific group
  4. Click ‘Merge’ for any pair of contacts shown that are duplicates
  5. This generates a view of the data stored on each record, select anything that needs to be kept on the original record. You can also flip which is shown as the original and duplicate records at the top of the page
  6. Click ‘Merge’ once you are happy.
