What is CRM?  CRM (Contact Relationship Management) at it's most basic level is a system used to manage interactions with contacts. However with the development of technology, CRM systems can offer sophisticated ways to collect and manage data to enable organisations to ultimately operate more efficiently.

CiviCRM is an open source web-based CRM platform, which has been designed specifically for the not for profit sector.  It is a fully integrated and powerful database which offers complex solutions to the wide range of organisations working within the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.  To find out more about what CiviCRM can do for your organisation, scroll down the page.

The software is not static, it is continually evolving in response to needs from users.  The GMCVO Database team are part of a well-connected and supportive community of associates, who contribute to the developments.  There are a number of events that take place across the country where providers, developers and users get together to helps and support one another.  If you are interested in attending any of these events, sign up to our mailing list and we will keep you updated.

The basic software is supported by a number of modules designed to fulfil the requirements of the diverse range of activities undertaken by voluntary sector organisations.  This means that you can build your database to suit your own organisation’s needs, nothing more, nothing less.
